Hi, I'm Melanie Borden, founder of Dirty Hippie. I believe life is too short to spend your weekends doing laundry. That's why we're building a technology company with our own laundry and dry cleaning pickup and delivery service across northern New Jersey, giving people back their time while caring for every garment as if it were our own.

It's three simple steps. You schedule a pickup, a vetted local partner washes, dry-cleans, folds and presses your order, and we deliver it back to your door fresh and folded.
What areas do you serve?
We're launching across northern New Jersey — including Bergen, Passaic, Morris, Essex and Sussex counties — and adding new neighborhoods as we grow. Join the waitlist to find out when we reach yours.
How much does it cost?
Pricing will be announced at launch. Waitlist members get first access and early-member perks before we open to the public.
How fast is turnaround? Do you offer same-day?
We're building for same-day turnaround in most areas, with pickup and delivery windows that fit your schedule. Exact timing depends on your location and order.
What can you clean?
Everyday wash & fold, dry cleaning, delicates, bedding and linens, and suits and pressing. If you're not sure about a special item, just ask.
How do you handle my clothes? Is it safe?
Every order is handled by vetted local cleaning partners and tracked from pickup to drop-off, so you always know where your laundry is and that it's in good hands.
